Course Schedule

We offer a variety of coaching courses at all levels – from online Grassroot courses, in person Grassroots courses, to hosting National “D” and “C” License courses – throughout the year.

The schedule below will tell you what we currently have scheduled. Courses are organized chronologically, from Grassroots online and Grassroots (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) in person courses, the first level of coaching certification within the US Soccer curriculum, to the National “A” License. For more information on each course, please visit our course description page.

Registration

The Digital Coaching Center (DCC) is U.S. Soccer and WA Youth Soccer’s registration and assignment platform used for all Coaching Education courses. To register for upcoming courses listed below please follow the registration link or go to: https://dcc.ussoccer.com

To obtain verification of a “D” or “E” license in the Digital Coaching Center, obtained prior to 2016. Please contact Paul Bayly at PaulB@Washingtonyouthsoccer.org. All “A”, “B”, “C” licenses are verified by U.S. Soccer.

Refund Policy

Grassroots Course Policy: Candidate may request a refund until 7 days prior to start of course. There will be no refunds given after the registration close date. No Exceptions.

“D” Course Policy: Once a Candidate is registered, he/she may request a 50% refund up to 30 days prior to the start of the course. After 30 days any consideration for exceptions must be emailed to the WA Youth Soccer Course Administrator prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given after the course starts.

“C” Course Policy: Once a candidate is registered he/she may request a 50% refund up to 90 days prior to the start of the course. After 90 days any consideration for exception must be emailed to the WA Youth Soccer Course Administrator prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given after the course starts.

The “C” course consists of two face-to-face meetings over three months. Meetings one and two will take place over five days and both will be educational phases. Candidates must attend both meetings to be eligible to earn a “C” license. 

Meeting I: 5 days
Development Period: 6-8 weeks
Meeting II: 5 days
Development Period: 2 weeks

Note that Washington Youth Soccer does not currently offer transportation or lodging as part of”C” course registration.  

These courses are not run by the state office
