2020 Schedule

We offer a variety of coaching courses at all levels – from online Grassroots courses, to in-person Grassroots courses, to hosting National “D” and “C” License courses throughout the year.

The schedule below will tell you what we currently have scheduled. Courses are organized chronologically, from Grassroots (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) in-person courses, the first level of coaching certification within the US Soccer curriculum, to the National “A” License.

The C course consists of two course meetings separated by a development period. The total course duration is approximately 2-3 months.

Meeting 1: Five days onsite with full group.
Development Period 1: 6-8 weeks in home environment with assignments and mentoring.
Meeting 2: Five days onsite with full group.

    1. Candidates are required to attend ALL in-person meetings for both meetings. In-person dates CAN NOT be combined with any other course.
    2. Approximate arrival time on day 1 is 12:00 pm PST, candidates are required to be in attendance from approximately 8 am – 8 pm Monday-Wednesday, with wrap up on Thursdays between 12-1 pm.

Note that Washington Youth Soccer does not currently offer transportation or lodging as part of”C” course registration.  

These courses are not run by the state office

Registration

The Learning Center (LC) is U.S. Soccer and WA Youth Soccer’s registration and assignment platform used for all Coaching Education courses. To register for upcoming courses listed below please follow the registration link or go to:  https://learning.ussoccer.com/

To obtain verification of a “D” or “E” license in the Learning Center, obtained prior to 2016. Please contact Paul Bayly at PaulB@Washingtonyouthsoccer.org. All “A”, “B”, “C” licenses are verified by U.S. Soccer.

Refund Policy

Grassroots Course Policy: Candidate may request a refund until 7 days prior to start of course. There will be no refunds given after the registration close date. No exceptions.

“D” Course Policy: Once a candidate is registered, he/she may request a 50% refund up to 30 days prior to the start of the course. After 30 days, any consideration for exceptions must be emailed to the WA Youth Soccer Course Administrator prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given after the course starts.

“C” Course Policy: A candidate seeking to withdraw from a clinic must do so through the Learning Center (LC) at least 14 days prior to the start of a course. Failure to do this will result in a $250 administration fee. Candidates will receive a full refund for a clinic that is canceled within 14 days of start date. If a candidate fails to show up for the course, this could result in a loss of all fees paid. Please note that all refunds take 30 days to process.
