Course Schedules
We offer a variety of coaching courses at all levels – from online Grassroots courses, to in-person Grassroots courses, to hosting National “D”, “C”, and “B” License courses throughout the year.
The schedule below will tell you what we currently have scheduled. Courses are organized chronologically, from Grassroots (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) in-person courses, the first level of coaching certification within the US Soccer curriculum, to the National “A” License.

If your club is interested in hosting a Grassroots or “D” License course, reach out to Paul Bayly here:
In order to host a Grassroots or “D” License course, your club must have a minimum of 10 eligible coaches prepared to take the course. Grassroots courses have no prerequisites. “D” Licenses require coaches to have attended at least 2 in-person Grassroots courses and 1 online Grassroots course.
Registration

Important Steps to register for Grassroot courses:
Step 1: Candidates must sign up and create a coach profile in the Learning Center
Step 2: Complete the Free Introduction to Grassroots Coaching module ** via the Learning Center
Step 3: Register for the course either by the link sent or by your course choice.
Step 4: Read all the information on the course in the Learning Center
Step 5: Attend both the classroom and field sessions
Step 6: Complete the Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments to receive your License.
Step 7: You must have a valid SafeSport completed course to receive the license.
**To be eligible to register to take your 1st Grassroots course, you’ll need to complete the following:
- Free Introduction to Grassroots Coaching module (online). Differs from the Safe Sport course. If you have not completed the Intro to Safety module, it will not let you register for the course. Coaches only have to complete this module once.

All “A”, “B”, “C” licenses are verified by U.S. Soccer.
