The 2019 Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup was a blast as always, as 62 clubs from all over the state converged on Starfire Sports in Tukwila to have fun, score goals, and—of course—to win trophies. The rain came down hard on day 1, forcing teams to adapt and stay warm if they hoped to make it through the semifinals and finals. Quite a few matches went to penalty shootouts, as the cheers of fans and players alike punctuated the cloudy skies with every perfect shot and legendary save.
